Welcome to our Coding & Robotics Course!
Welcome to our Coding & Robotics program! Over the first 18 months, you’ll explore fun, hands-on activities that introduce computers, simple coding, and playful robotics. You will strengthen your digital literacy, learn safe internet practices, and gradually move into more advanced coding tools. In the final 6 months, you’ll develop a capstone project that demonstrates your new skills.
At the end of the programme, you will be presented with a certificate of completion which will be useful to your future.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
• A laptop (Windows, macOS, or Chromebook) with 4GB+ RAM.
• A stable internet connection for lessons and collaborative tasks.
• A free Scratch account (scratch.mit.edu)—we’ll introduce more coding tools as you progress.
• A micro:bit for robotics practicals (purchased separately), so you can get hands-on experience with sensors and programming.
We look forward to helping you gain confidence in technology and preparing you for more advanced coding down the line!
Please log in to your dashboard and/or visit your mailbox regularly for weekly updates, class activities and important announcements.
Warm regards,
Your Coding & Robotics Team
